| Tabitha and Amelia wish to see the world. Yes, they do get to see the back garden regularly, and that is appreciated - but it's not the same. Yes, the house has the recommended minimum number of food bowls, and litter trays, for indoor cat comfort - but it's not the same. Yes, there are cat trees for a cat to keep her claws sharp on, and to rest on while watching the outside go by - but it's not the same. Not the same as getting out there, and seeing the world for themselves - some experiences must be personally experienced. There are challenges of course for a couple of cats wishing to follow in Marco Polo's and Michael Palin's footsteps. Physically visiting the different scenic spots in the world is harder than pressing buttons on the TV remote. No matter how glibly the travel writer writes travelling in the fur takes more than turning the page. One can go from country to country on a globe by moving a paw, but a globe does not hint at the forest of formalities to cross each border. Tabitha and Amelia need a guide to realise their wishes. This is where you come in dear player. Armed with your vastly greater knowledge of the world, and its ways, you can guide Tabitha and Amelia around. At each crossroads you can divine the direction to choose. At each fork you can tell left from right, and right from left. The cryptic enigmas on the signposts will not be cryptic or enigmatic to you. And so Tabitha and Amelia will see the world! | | |
