Peter Hewitt provided the impetus which started me making Adventure games, though in my case purely as a hobby. I won't be giving up my day job any time soon! My lack of certain talents (I can't draw for one thing) limits the kind of games I can make, at least on my own. My games make heavy use of digital photographs. What I bring to game developing is programming ability, and the coding aspect of game development is enjoyable. Solving the programming puzzles gives a real buzz! Better than playing most games! I appreciate a lot the help I have received from others on sites like Adventure Developers. Some solo developers achieve great things by themselves, but most could achieve more in partnership with others? In the future I will seek to work more in tandem. |
